Petite Noir

Till We Ghosts

By Austin Higgins

I'll be honest I had no idea who Petite Noir was until roughly a week ago. The first thing you should know is that he's an up and coming artist based out of Cape Town, South Africa. The second thing you should know is that he produces his own work. This track is sure to resonate with most, as the lyrics are very accesible. Keep an eye out for more work from Petite Noir, and listen to his single 'Till We Ghosts' below.

Kendrick Lamar Ft. Young Jeezy // Ab-Soul

West Side, Right On Time // Nibiru

If you didn't know already from the release of 'Party' by ScHoolboy Q earlier this week; it is #TDEFamAppreciationWeek, so we are getting singles from all of Black Hippy. First up we have 'West Side, Right On Time' by Kendrick Lamar Ft. Young Jeezy. Kendrick kills the beat as usual and Jeezy brings his Jeezy. The second track is 'Nibiru' by Ab-Soul. The rapper has once again provided a track chock-full of political connotations and conspiracy undertones, thus proving himself to be the most politically aware artist in the TDE lineup. Check out both tracks below.

Captain Murphy

Shake Weight (Prod. by TNGHT)

I'm a few days late on this one, but it's still a great song nonetheless. At this point nobody knows the true identity of Captain Murphy. Some speculate that it's an alternate persona of Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler The Creator, or even Fying Lotus. My guess is that Murphy is completely new to the scene, and someone that we just haven't heard from before. Either way Murphy does a fantastic job at laying his blunt OFWGKTA style lyrics over the bass-heavy 'Bugg'n' by TNGHT. Check out the track below.

Here we have a new single from TDE rapper ScHoolboy Q. The track is called 'Party' and the lyrical content is exactly what one would expect. ScHoolboy's flow combined with the skillful production of Kenny Beats makes for the perfect house party ballad. Check out the song below.

A$AP Rocky

Purple Kisses

We all know that A$AP Rocky loves America, purple, and women, but if we weren't all clear on it he has released a new track with visuals to accompany called Purple Kisses. It's a classic sounding A$AP track with a slow chill beat to mellow out to. This track will be on the upcoming A$AP Mob album, "Lord$ Never Worry" which comes out the 28th of this month.

Kid Cudi Ft. King Chip

Just What I Am

By Andrew Goodwyn

Kid Cudi was definitely off of the map for a long time with the exception of one track he released about a month or so ago, but it's really nice to see him coming out with some new music. Kid Cudi blew up a few years ago, and then dropped out of the music scene after releasing the ghastly "WZRD" album (the first track on WZRD was good, but it was instrumental). Anyways, Kid Cudi seems to have finally made it back to a good position with the release of this new track with King Chip (formerly Chip the Ripper). It still has traces of WZRD, but the rock sound is pulled off much better with this track than any track on WZRD. Cop the free download below.

Breakdown of Sanity

Stronger (Kanye West cover)

All of us have heard of Kanye West, and most of us have heard his track "Stronger." We get a new rendition of this track in a Hip-Hop crossover to Metal by one of my favorite breakdown heavy bands, Breakdown of Sanity. Now of course it isn't comparable to the original track because the genre change, but I think it is super sick. Check it out below, and visit the video on YouTube for the download link.

You can't not love The xx. Once again, the English band has put forth a mind-blowing track featured on their upcoming album, Coexist. The combination of hauntingly beautiful vocals and trademark smooth guitar melody is simply entrancing. The album is scheduled to drop September 11 via Young Turks. Check out 'Chained' below.

Pussy Money Weed

Today we get a track from that Pretty Mother Fucker titled 'Pussy Money Weed'. However, the track presumably will not be appearing on the forthcoming A$AP Rocky or A$AP Mob's debut albums. This is instead a track that Rocky did for DJ Clue's new mixtape. The tags are a little annoying, but check out the song below.

Also, check out the rather entertaining back and forth interview noisey set up between A$AP Rocky and Schoolboy Q.
